Wasp is character in Marvel comics, after her first appearance she was introduced as the love interest of Henry Pym also known as Ant-Man in the Avengers comics. She joined the Avengers in Avengers #1.
Biography[]
Janet Van Dyne was the daughter of Dr. Vernom Van Dyne, she accopanied her father while he was trying to find a partner to help him contact alien races, she met Hank Pym while visiting him along her father but he refused the offer to collaborate.
While she was out of the house, Vernom succeeded in contacting with an alien crature coming from Kosmos. Janet came back to find that her father had been murdered by an alien and unsure of what to do she called Dr. Pym to help her understand what happened, she found out about his secret identity as Ant-man and asked him to give her the same abilities so she could bring her father's killer to justice. She became the Wasp, helped Hank stop the creature from Kosmos and became her partner. Janet used to be stalked by her chauffer regularly, it was later revealed he was actually a supervillain called Whirlwind.
They developed feelings for each other during their many adventures and later founded the Avengers along with Iron Man The Hulk and Thor. They eventually got married some time later after Hank developed a second personality called Yellowjacket. Their relationship started to deteriorate over the years with Hank mental inestability becoming worse every month he ignored her, didn't take her opinions into account, burned her things and stroke her across the face during his inactivity period. Wasp finally divorced him in issue #214.
A month later Jan became involved in a whirldwind romance with Tony Stark for many weeks. This relationship ended when her teammate Iron Man revealed to her he wasn't actually Stark's bodyguard but Stark himself and Wasp couldn't bring herself to be with someone who used to be Hank's friend.
During the crossover event Secret Wars Wasp was captured by a pile of metal and brought to Magneto's fortress, after trying to flatter her to join his side Magnus tried to make advances of her which she seemingly reciprocated. It was later revealed Wasp only pretended to be on Magneto's side to learn his secret and help the X-Men defeat him.
Some time before Secret Invasion Hank was abducted by Skrulls and replaced with an impostor. This Skrull tried to get close to Jan and restart her relationship with Hank after years of being stranded. During this time Janet started feeling more alone than before due to Hank's more distant attitude after she refused to marry him again. She started becoming closer with her teammate Hawkeye and had an affair with him, damaging her relatinship with hank heavily.
Years later she became engaged and married Havok, but eventually separated.
After the Uncanny Avengers series, Rage of Ultron, Civil War II, Secret empire and Hydra's attempted takeover Janet moved back to New York, she was called by Tony Stark to help him analyze Jocasta's brain patterns. They acted on their feelings for each other and rekindled their old relationship, she accompanied Iron man in his many super hero adventures, including stoping the controller, defeating sudurang and scaring Ultron off. She tried to comfort Tony after he found out he was actually an A.I. Saying he was still the same person regardless.

Janet Van Dyne was created to be Ant-Man sidekick in his solo stories she was given a similar suit and similar abilities, by the end of her original appearance Wasp wanted to persue a relationship with him. They evenrually fell in love during the various stories they appeared in, Hank eventually had an accident on his laboratory that made him extremely brash and arrogant he changed his name to Yellowjacket and abducted her, after finding out Yellowjacket's real identity she made an arrangement with him and both became engaged and married the following issue. Hank and Janet relationship in the Avengers book has become infamous due to certain aspects of Hank behavior, the most remembered one being when Hank stroke her across the face, which made Jan decide to divorce him. They never actually reconciled after that. Outside of an affair Jan had with a Skrull impostor.

Janet's chauffer, at first only trying to seduce her to steal her money David became infatuated with Jan and often stalked her, he gained the super power to control the wind and became the Top Man later renamed himself The Whirlwind. While at first Jan appreciated his concern for her, she soon realized he was a psycopath, as he often would try to kill Hank, kidnap her, and almost raped her once.

Tony Stark[]
Wasp and Iron Man.
Iron man and Wasp had affection for each other through out the original Avengers run. After her divorce with Hank, Janet started spending more time with Iron Man's employer, Tony stark unaware that he and her teammate where one and the same, Tony actively persued a relationship with her during this time, with both becoming very close. Eventually Stark revealed his secret identity as Iron Man to Jan, horryfing her, as she couldn't bear to date one of Hank's direct friends.
More than 30 years later, Iron man received a new series in 2019 and Wasp was inroduced as one of the main characters, they went on a date and rekindled their past relationship, working together on every important event surrounding Stark industries on New York, stoping many super villains including Ultron who tried to merge Wasp with Jocasta and force her to marry him.
Magneto[]
Jan and Magnus.
Magnus became attracted to Wasp during the Secret Wars event, he expreselly took her to his recently constructed fortress and tried to seduce her into his side. Wasp tricked Magneto and eventually betrayed him to help the X-men, angering him greatly.
Clint Burton[]
Hawkeye and Wasp.
During the Uncanny Avengers story-line Wasp became closer with Hawkeye, they acted on their feelings for each other during the Invaders's return and had an affair, which affected Hank inmensely. They seemed to continue to show affection for each other after the incident, however their relationship was never resolved, as during the Avengers disasembled event Wasp was put into a coma and Hawkeye died destroying a Kree ship.
