Sharon Carter

Sharon Carter, alias Agent 13, was a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and also the great-niece of Steve Rogers's first love interest, Peggy Carter. Sharon Carter is a supporting character in the 2014 film Captain America: The Winter Soldier and its 2016 sequel Captain America: Civil War.

History

Sharon Carter was a S.H.E.I.L.D. agent assigned to monitor Steve Rogers undercover as a nurse and moved into an adjacent apartment to further her assignment. Her assignment is abrupt by a sudden gunshot coming from Steve's apartment. She rushed over and found a wounded Nick Fury. Carter called for support while Steve ran after the shooter. The incident proves to be a series of consequences led to coup by hidden elements of HYDRA. At first, she was alarmed by orders of S.H.E.I.L.D agents for the capture of Steve Rogers, demanded by Agent Stidwell as to why they were issuing a manhunt. World Secretary Council Alexander Pierce walked in and claimed that Rogers withheld information regarding Nick Fury's death. Later at Triskelion, she overheard Steve Rogers' speech on how Hydra infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D. and were planning on launching their hall-carriers to take over the world and urged every agent to stand up.

She was later seen at her aunt Peggy's funeral and reveals their blood relation during her eulogy. She and Steve flirted a bit before they were interrupted by Natasha. She was last seen reuniting with Steve at the parking garage and kissing him as Bucky and Sam watch from the car.
