Sh'eenaz is a mermaid from The Witcher franchise by Andrzej Sapkowski, where she debuts in the short story "A Little Sacrifice" in love who is the object of Agloval's affection, a human duke who desires her deeply.
Book[]

Sh'eenaz initially resisted Agloval's advances, but the end chose to leave her ocean life and become human, eventually marrying with him.
2025 Netflix animated film[]
Sh’eenaz appears in the animated adaption Sirens of the Deep, voiced by Emily Carey.
A human prince and a mermaid princess are in love, but their love is forbidden due to the conflict between their kingdoms. Furthermore, the mermaid's evil aunt secretly sowing civil war in the oceans and discord and on the surface, in a shady deal with her lover's hateful father, intending to make them apart; partly because her aunt was once in love with her father the Triton King, so her efforts are a coup to take the throne for herself and the human king does not accept his son's love for a sea creature.
Sh'eenaz does not becomen human unlike in the book, but the film adaptation subverts this by forcing Agloval to drink a potion that transforms him into a merman, defying his father's desires, allowing them to stay together in the ocean instead of her abandoning her mermaid life.
