Jessie the Cowgirl is the tritagonist in the Toy Story series. She is the love interest of Buzz Lightyear. She first appeared in Toy Story 2.
History
Jessie used to belong to Emily, but later on, she was sold to Al McWhiggin. She was agreed to go with Woody to see Andy because of his little sister, Molly and she joined the group. She also appeared in Toy Story 3, and the Toy Story shorts.
Romance with Buzz
The first hint of romance between Buzz and Jessie, is at the end of Toy Story 2, when Buzz tries to compliment her on her "yarn full of hair". Jessie then does a cool move, and Buzz's wings pop up (which may be the equivalent of him having an erection).
In Toy Story 3, their relationship is expanded upon. Buzz still has an obvious crush on her. Even when Losto resets him to his original space ranger attitude and have him turned against his friends, he is still attracted to her, as evident to when he tells her that he is immune to her good looks.
When Buzz gets put on Spanish mode, he becomes even more obviously attracted to her, and she begins to become attracted to him. After a TV lands on Buzz, and all the other toys become convinced that he is dead, and it is revealed that Buzz is alive, Jessie reacts by kissing him. The two realize their true feelings for each other, during the incinerator scene, where, after the group is rescued, they realize that they are the only two still holding hands.
At the end of the film, the two dance together during the credits.
