Frankie is a major character of The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature. He is either a French bulldog or a Boston Terrier. He is the love interest and later husband of Precious.
Surly gets caught in one of Gunther's traps, and the animals are pursued by Muldoon's dog, Frankie, who later falls in love with Precious when he saw her after she pushed to save Surly. Surly convince her to go to him so surly and other can be safe though she did it reluctantly.
Frankie tried to reassure Precious while she was in the mayor’s car.
When Surly and Buddy find Muldoon's mansion, they save Precious in the room of Muldoon's daughter, Heather. When saved Precious tells Frankie she is not really interest in him, breaking his heart.
Precious defend Frankie by saying Frankie’s is nothing like Heather.
Later Precious finds Frankie, and apologises to him for what happened earlier, they talked like Precious retreats not taking Frankie with her etc. while confess she does care for him, causing Frankie to fall in love with her again.
Several months later, the people help rebuild Liberty Park to its former glory. Precious and Frankie shown to have puppies.
