Brock Shelby Leighton also Know as Brock Leighton, is the love interest and later boyfriend of Maria Wong in the cartoon series''Braceface'', well in the first season she show no interest in him, because she just like him as a friend, until the second season when his family that he was suppose to stay a week doesn't pick him, so he go to Italy with Sharon and Maria, first the grandparents accepted Brock. But then Maria who was walking with him in Rome finally had a crush on him when he being to know everything about Rome. They ended up staying out too late and Maria's grandfather ends up chasing Brock with a broomstick. Maria finally tells Sharon she now likes Brock more than just a friend. During the end of the episode, Maria and Brock have their first kiss after realizing that both Elkford and Rome would be romantic too and they have feelings for each other. Maria and Brock have been boyfriend and girlfriend since the beginning and the ending of the series
