Marina the Mermaid is the love interest of Jake in the preschool show, Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
Unlike most mermaids, Marina is sweet and good natured and hangs out with Jake and his friends from time to time.
Jake, who is usually confident and calm, got nervous when there was an upcoming dance with the three pirates and the mermaids as he never danced before and didn't want to look like a fool in front of her. After his battle with Captain Hook he learned to dance and had a good time.
